What makes a top gynecologist in Atlanta and Alpharetta, GA

1. Is in your insurance provider’s network. While this one isn’t based on your personal preferences, it is important to find a doctor that is in your insurance provider’s network. This will save you money in the long run.
2. Is the gender you prefer. Listen, the person you select as the top gynecologist for you will be in charge of helping you with private, often embarrassing issues, so choosing one that is a gender your feel comfortable with is important.
3. Comes highly recommended. A top gynecologist may be recommended to you by friends, family or your general physician. Read online reviews for them as well, if they are overwhelming positive, add them to your list of potential providers. 
4. Has experience. Though visiting a recently graduated doctor is not always a bad thing, you do want to make sure the doctor you see has experience. This may be practicing on their own or training through medical school, including a solid residency and even a fellowship.

7. Is affiliated with a hospital you trust. A top gynecologist will refer you to a hospital for certain testing and use a hospitals’ facilities to perform their surgeries.
